Game terbaru PES 2016 besutan Konami itu menghadirkan lagi tema khas sepak bola, We Will Rock You, yang dinyanyikan oleh grup band asal Inggris, Quen. Lagu We Wil Rock You pernah muncul di PES generasi sebelumnya.
Game terbaru PES 2016 memiliki spesifikasi yang lebih baik dibanding PES 2015. Game sepak bola itu juga mengalami peningkatan di mode pertandingan dan tampilan grafis.
Konami berjanji game terbaru PES 2016 akan diluncurkan di semua platform, seperti Playstation 3 (PS 3), Xbox 360, PS 4, Xbox One, dan personal computer atau PC
